It was 2003 and I had deployed to Iraq. My wife at the time made me a CD with a bunch of songs we liked. Well this and Lady In Red was the 2 songs I use to listen to on repeat between missions thinking about her. This was our song, every time it came on we’d slow dance to it. Well we were 2 young kids with 3 babies and it just didn’t work between us. Now she is a couple states away and we’re both married to other people but anytime I hear this she is all I think about.
